Cucumbers contain most of the vitamins you need every day, just one cucumber contains Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc. The phrase cool as a cucumber says it all as cucumbers are a soothing skin tonic that reduces inflammation, swelling and burning sensations. The juice, especially when mixed with aloe vera or rose water, softens the skin. Cucumbers are used in Chinese medicine to reduce blood pressure.
